Hi Regula! It was so lovely to meet you at your talk at Now Serving in LA. Since then, I've scoured the internet and discovered that both waffle maker recommendations in your book (frifri and lagrange) are unavailable in the US. Frifri for a time sold their product under the name "croquade" but very recently discontinued their line (despite their website seeming to be still active, it is not). Neither frifri nor Lagrange will ship to the United States either. What's more disappointing is that all of the waffle irons available for purchase in the US do not offer the different waffle plates or are the round plate kind. My wife and I would love to make waffles as you intend in your book. I'm wondering if you know of any third party sellers in Belgium who would ship frifri or lagrange waffle makers and the waffle plates to us in the US. I wouldn't ask you unless I was really at a loss. I really appreciate your time. Thank you again!!
